Part of it is Vivi's fascination with all things magical. Her love for the game and its world lets us share in her wonder. It makes sense she reached the max level. It's something I didn't know other stories in the genre missed; having all the power yet acting like uncaring murderhobos. Not so here.

I have the same one. Love using it during electro play. The sharp edge holds the current with the lightest touch, making my bottom feel like they're being cut under my scalpel.

Very enjoyable read. I'm curious of the dolls' changes after they got properly broken in. You've alluded to Maria's failed companionship. Yet the dolls have enough sapience to figure out complex tasks, but not enough to act as people. There is a line, and there are needs that shape the new dynamics.

I second this. Azure played very well with the way an unreliable narrator sees the world. It flips on its head what is true and what is interpreted in a way I found very satisfying.

It'd take practice. I find them hard to nail, though I may be a picky reader. I enjoy them most when they have some purpose outside the porn. Or when the sexuality is secondary to another source of tension (eg. Leinth epilogue in Warhound). In most other case, sensuality and intimacy is enough.

I wish there were more fics that were less about sex and more about the humanity of the characters, either lost or discarded. Your handler was a treat to read. Her giving into her urges at the end is bittersweet yet perfect for the kind of woman that would make breaking others her whole job.
