I am not Catholic, I have my issues with how my former Catholic step family treated me. But I know the influence the Catholic church has and this gives me hope. Let's hope he carries on the kindness Pope Francis did.

So a couple months ago, my former youth pastor posted this and I wanted to scream. I lost my dad to a heart attack when I was 12...when this dude was my youth pastor. This meme is incredibly insulting, especially when posted by someone meant to support.

Real life updates. Healing from Dequervains surgery. 6 week check in went well, still some pains but it can take 6 months to fully recover and surgeon and physio weren't concerned. And I have a scar...im just going to say it was a velociraptor attack. Sounds more bad ass

I am pansexual, but also demisexual...this means I do fall under the ace umbrella. I used to be a MASSIVE Harry Potter fan...but I can't support it anymore. Maybe that's why in recent years I've picked up my love of comics and dinosaurs so heavily.

Well there's a fun experience...I watch Parks and Rec a lot...its a comfort show. In the episode with the harvest fest? I wound up tearing up at the end...because it reminded me of my own Midwest experience...and the fact I don't feel I would be welcome in my home country right now
