I mean, really do want to believe at some psychological level to those studies saying that socials do not polarise, but if you peek at anybody anywhere scrolling you just see slop, fake news, and derogatory content. Big tech has such a big responsibility for the descent of the west into autocracy

That's not even a killer acquisition... the company was already on the deathbed. While on-device AI could still be a dominant design challenge to smartphones, we are not there yet at all, and the AI pin joins the valley of tears of failed AI projects...
