Who peered back at them? She was losing herself again. The thought settled like a razor wire crown on her head.

In celebration of Let Slip the Beasts' 2nd bday I redid some art of Kallie I made years ago. Her situation (& my style) has changed quite dramatically. She's somehow become more unhinged in book 2. Can't wait for you to get re-acquainted!

She is missing teeth and nails and is bleeding and crying. She's straight up not having a good time. The main character of the sequel to Let Slip the Beasts, Kallie, is depicted breaking through a window somewhere high up looking absolutely feral.
