We have The Mountain Pine and Elm Bark Beetles in Ontario that are destroying trees by causing Dutch Elm disease. I believe BC and Alberta have it under control and are the only provinces to not currently have an issue.

They are one of my favourites. I only see them for about a two week span at the feeders from late April to early May.
