I used to rant about service & UX design leadership stuff & Dublin City, now it’s mostly cycling & Dun Laoghaire (and darned pavement parking!) with 3 little kids.
I have my husband’s so I can check how close to home he is when cycling home and I’m trying to plan when dinner can be ready. Rarely check it but useful if he didn’t text before starting the trip. And we’re not in a weird one sided relationship, he does the same when I’m in the office!

She worked the day 8am to 9pm without a break because technically each “job” was less than 4 hours so no break needed. I tried my best to give her food while here. The lack of care for staff in the design of home care is infuriating.

I feel like the classification “doing a bad job” is a compliment at this stage. It implies they’re actually doing the job in some way…

It had an odd phase around 2000 of being the place to go for teenage girl birthday parties. Pizza was suddenly a thing and they served alcohol without ID. I was there a few times.

Give them a free electric cargo bike instead.

Thanks so much for the recommendation. Managed to get there today and I have 2 delighted kids with their new bikes and a delighted mammy who feels like they’re the right fit for them! And I didn’t have to rob a bank!

I was advised by my driving instructor to book the last test of the day, most chance of traffic so you’ll go a shorter route to avoid risk of getting stuck and the instructor finishing work late. Best day is a Friday. In case you haven’t booked yet, it worked for me!

Thanks, I’m actually suspicious my older fella will need 16 inch, he’s fierce tall, but would love expert advice, so wasn’t thinking adverts. But recycle bikes looks like a great shout, thanks!

I’m in.

That would be amazing. Imagine continued right out so Palmerstown and Lucan wouldn’t need to be split down the middle anymore.

Have a look at the work TACSI have done, guessing something there would be relevant.

I sometimes park my cargo bike in a car spot outside my house when I’m just popping in for a few mins. Cars do not like it. I find it hilarious.

I know, was there this morning! Nice to see a place so lovingly designed on that street too. I’m actually relieved at the price or I’d be visiting too frequently! 😋
