I lead a nearly 3 hour call today. It was just me and the girl who has come on as my support but I was showing her some day to day duties and talking her through it. I am now spent. I also got my period today. Today is a write off now.

I finished reading Jaybangs (a great read, btw) and moved right onto Future Boy. Which has worked out quite well for me cause there’s a lot of familiar names in both. 🤣

DC's Legends of Tomorrow is seriously one of the best shows of the past decade. It's got so much heart and humor and embraces silliness and diversity in the best ways (and OH MY GOD I crush so hard on Tala Ashe's grunge Zari).
You could get all seven seasons of Legends of Tomorrow on Blu-ray for $60 (or $51 with coupon if this is your first order from Gruv, Warner's online store!) The first season is a bit rough but if you make it through there is a wild, fun, and very queer ensemble superhero adventure awaiting you!

Spotify is garbage on every count: Its treatment of artists, its ICE advertising, the CEO's investment in military AI, its leading role in the commodification and AI slopification of music, its terrible audio quality—you name it.

So I quit, and put together a complete guide to getting off Spotify:
How to quit Spotify
This Black Friday, here's a guide to finding the best Spotify alternative

"You study how that liquid comes out of the hose normally. But then sometimes you have to manipulate the opening on the hose to make the liquid look like it’s actually coming out of someone’s mouth."

Read our interview with the special effects foreman who unexpectedly went viral:

not sure how to square ‘no one person can be reasonably expected to pay for every media subscription’ with ‘sorely underpaid writers need to make a living’ but my inclination is not to locate that problem with any of the broke ass people on either end of the complaint

some significant part of this is just catch-all fear for “this is not the child I ordered” I think
Oh, here's a big surprise. The transphobes don't believe in ADHD either.
then, the transphobes , feeling victorious at how many people they have made unhappy and despairing in the previous week, move on to anything else that has a spectrum and the possibility of more colours than they can conceive - such hateful people - they cannot understand anything that is not THEM

So it seems like this is a ragebait article; Aardman intends to try AI the same way they've used CGI over the past years; not to replace their work, but as a support tool in the process.

Not great, but not as terrible as the article tries to sound, and question is how much use they'll find in it.
