It's been ages since I've showed anyone my writing and I'm kind of nervous. I had a request from a mutual, so here it is.

This is an excerpt from my current WIP. It's only a first draft and nowhere near the final version. Still needs heavy editing I'm sure.

I've been babysitting my sister's family dog - Pepper.

She's been an absolute pleasure to be around. So sweet and affectionate.

My sister picks her up today. Will be sad when she goes home. I've missed having a dog about the place.

My two babies. The border collie's name was Sasha, and the blue heeler (like on the TV show Bluey) was Kiama. Sadly no longer living, but they live on in my heart. 💖

Wow, I love your picture. Kinda has a lot of movement somehow, if that makes sense.

This is my first attempt at junk journaling. Probably not great art or anything but it was fun.

Here is a pic of a little tree growing out of the branch of a bigger tree.

Took a walk down the back of my parents place today. Was refreshing. Saw a kangaroo too, but it bounded over the fence and into the bush too fast to get a photo.

Worth remembering during these times.
