No Direct Messages - too many impersonators and scammers
Pinned
I posted in my profile that I do not accept any Direct Messages. I have not lost money. However, I have wasted a lot of time chatting being myself with people who are scammers who eventually tip their hand. The smartest thing to do is stick with friends you know.

The era we are living in offers too many illustrations of greed, narcissism, and hatefulness. But I still believe we can recommit ourselves to serving the common good of all Americans. [Artwork by Jennifer Bloomer]

Carney: We know that this decades-long process of our ever-closer economic relationship between Canada and the US has ended. And as a consequence of that, many of our strengths have become our vulnerabilities, particularly in those industries that are most tightly integrated with the US….

Perhaps it really is a foolish thought—a little crazy, a little childish—that the people we've lost shine like stars in the sky. But let's be honest: What would life be without such thoughts? Sometimes, we need just that touch of magic to make the darkness a little brighter.

As a survivor of the Tulsa Race Massacre, Viola Ford Fletcher bravely shared her story so that we’d never forget this painful part of our history. Michelle and I are grateful for her lifelong work to advance civil rights, and send our love to her family.

I was honored to speak at a conference “Intent to Destroy: Confronting Russia’s Campaign to Erase Ukraine & Its People” at Georgetown. The mere suggestion of amnesty for Russia's war crimes and genocidal actions against Ukrainians, contained in Trump's 28-point plan, is an unconscionable obscenity.

This is absolutely astonishing to me. Even when I was a young corruption prosecutor on cases of much less national importance, it's hard for me to imagine I would have kept my job if I had charged someone with an indictment the full grand jury had never seen. Vindictive, but also incompetent.
Justice Dept. acknowledges full grand jury never saw final Comey indictment
The acknowledgement came during a hearing in which a federal judge heard the former FBI director’s arguments that he is the target of a vindictive prosecution.

Do you really think a Department of Justice that lies to judges about grand jury indictments is going to be open and honest about the Epstein Files?

Agree! It's unrealistic to ask folks not to shop for a month. We need food & essentials. But let's not go to big chain stores and restaurants. It's our opportunity to build community by going to local moms and pops shops and restaurants. The tariffs hit small business hard, let's support them.

If you can't do all of this, at least don't shop at big box stores or eat at chain restaurants. Buy from local mom and pop stores and eat at local restaurants. No black Friday.

Donald Trump spent months trying to tell Americans his tariffs weren't raising costs and that rising prices aren’t a problem.

Now, his plan to bring down costs is to roll back just a few of the tariffs that he imposed in the first place.

It’s time to repeal ALL of Trump’s reckless tariffs.

Donald Trump could have just kept his mouth shut about Jamal Khashoggi.

But to smear a dead journalist, while sitting with the person accused of orchestrating his murder is just vile.

Every time this administration hits rock bottom, a trap door seems to open.

Cretin behavior.

Two months ago, I asked Kash Patel if he had met with any of the women who were abused by Jeffrey Epstein. He wouldn’t answer.

Why? Because it’s all been one giant cover up — but today, we get one step closer to uncovering the whole truth.
