The stats from @thestorygraph.com aren't a bit skewed as one book I started last November and put down one essay before the end. It does not usually take me 33 days to finish a book...

As suspected, my diligence in catching everything I read this year in this thread has fallen way off. Here's book 90 of the year. I have questions. But also, I don't mind that they can't/won't be answered. A fabulous unsettling strange snapshot.

21 years ago today. This was before the huge thunderstorm that drenched many guests. Anyway, it seems both a ludicrously long time and no time at all. Happy anniversary Mr Barsby. Xx
