About our programs: Help the Kelp SLO! An abundant resource in our nearshore waters is kelp. Laura (program manager) noticed its use as a nature-based solution to promote climate resiliency.

Oceano's beach is not a highway! We and our Dunes Alliance partners await the court's ruling in defense of the Coastal Commission's decision to end public OHV access to the beach and dunes south of Pier Avenue. We look to advance protections this habitat soon!
