There was a plan to do this to London decades ago, some of it got built, but then it got (rightly) abandoned. There is a whole site about it, which I find fascinating…

There is a best of both worlds...half way between horizontal and diagonal. Gives you a long no crust edge, a pointy corner and a squarish corner. Thanks for listening.
