Beach magic. Treasures. End of day slow walked adventure.
A starfish washed up on a Florida beach! The starfish is reddish-brown with hundreds of tiny bumps (I’m certain there’s a technical word for it, but I’m too bundled into my sofa to lug out the encyclopedia). The sand around the Asteroidea is damp-grey and there are little shells scattered nearby. Two Pitbull type dogs, one grey brindle and one black snuffle a dead fish on the damp sand of a Florida beach. A seagull or osprey feather—dark brown against grey-taupe damp sand, on a Florida beach.

A blonde woman with visible grey roots wears a pink and yellow respirator so she doesn’t spend the day inhaling stripper fumes and seeing her lungs 🫁 A partially stripped Remington brand library desk from the 1960s. It was painted with white acrylic paint which seemed like and easy removal…however, lurking beneath was some sort of hell-brown paint that was more than bonded to the wood. The project has taken more time than budgeted. It also smell worse than anticipated.

Black pocket Pitties with brown eyebrows, standing on a beach, wondering if treats are in any pockets. Brindle pittie type dog, standing in a beach, regretting her choice to eat cat poop earlier (actually not at all, only the photographer regrets that event). Both pittie style dogs (black with brown eyebrows and brindle) in frame. They’re still on the beach, brindle pup is looking for a new parent, brown eyebrows still thinks there are pockets treats soon to be forthcoming. Brindle and brown eyebrows both now advocating for treats—they have to wait until returning home, but in the end, after the beach walk and a stop at the grocery store, they got chickum.
