He would place the victim in the trap and upon learning of the victim’s crimes, i don’t think Hawks is losing much sleep over it.

2) The bedroom trap

He would go through with it. If you know anything about saw, you know the victim deserves to put through this trial. While Hawks may struggle with his involvement of potentially harming someone at first. It being for the ‘greater good’ and the benefit of multiple people.

However, the second part of the test is that the victim then would go to kill Hawks as to avoid being arrested. A civilian is not killing Hawks. I don’t believe Hawks would kill her though but would certainly subdue her. He would only kill if he believed it was unavoidable.

1) The scalping seat (photo not included, it gives me the ick)

The room is covered in pictures of crimes she has committed. The combination to remove her from the seat is written on the gears where she can’t see them, Hawks would give her the code to escape.

The people in the traps have to save themselves.

I think it’s a lot more fun to talk about if he was in the position of Rigg.

Rigg is under the impression that he has ninety minutes to save his partners (let’s say best jeanist and endeavour for our purposes) to save them he has to collect clues. He can’t help anyone in the traps.

The interesting part about this movie though is rigg’s trial. Rigg has to learn that he can’t save everyone. The whole point of each ‘trap’ he goes through is to let the person save themselves. So i could either go from the point of if Hawks was in the trap himself would he survive or if he was rigg

Cont.) If he was in the place of having no site. He would depend on his hearing, I don’t think he would sit there and just panic. The same goes for not being able to speak. I think he would escape much faster with his mouth shut than with his eyes. Unless it was needed, he wouldn’t kill the other.

Saw IV - The Mausoleum
This trap is one that requires another person to complete. It feels unfair to allow Hawks to have his quirk in this one so let’s say it’s been nullified. Hawks is incredibly smart and in either position I do believe he could survive.

The rest of the traps are all dependent on Jeff getting the victims out, the victims play no role in their survival. So, yes, he would survive. He would also have definitely saved everyone because none of these traps require any level of actual skill. Slow asf Jeff just fucking sucks ball.

Saw III - Jeff’s Trials
This movie and its traps are difficult. Would hawks survive the classroom trap or angel wings trap? Possibly not as they were designed to be unbeatable. But he would certainly try his absolute best.

3) The needle pit: yes. no explanation needed
4) The razor box: yes. no explanation needed
5) Would he figure out the code for the safe? Yes, he’s a detective and spy at heart.

The nerve gas house.
1) The magnum eyehole: yes, he maybe slightly silly but he isn’t an idiot and wouldn’t put his face in front of an unknown hole.
2) The furnace: yes but probably with significant burns. The flames would probably dull his senses but he’d figure out that he had to turn the valve

Saw II - The death mask.
Instant yes. This whole thread is based on Hawks still having his full quirk. Therefore losing an eye doesn’t seem like much of a hindrance for him as he already uses his feathers as eyes.

hawks would definitely survive a saw trap, he runs purely on survival. would his quality of life potentially decrease by losing a limb or one of his sense? yes. if it means surviving would he lose one of them? yes
