yeah i didnt really like it when i used it either LOL, but im not aware of any other strictly-FOSS DAWs so i figured it was worth a mention!

the VSTs are the main ??? here since i have no clue if they're cross-platform (and there just arent many FOSS ones in general), but out of what i do use mda's plugins are all amazing: sourceforge.net/projects/mda...

its not open source, but i use reaper for audio stuff (along with a bunch of VSTs) and it has linux support! www.reaper.fm/index.php i used it for all the SFX in my own little godot project thingamajig here: bsky.app/profile/supe...
