Romero played the equivalent minutes of less than 16 premier league matches in the whole season and van de Ven only 11. Any manager having to field Dragusin, Davies and an 18 year old, zero experience at CB, Gray is going to be in trouble in a weak link sport.

Ange sacrificed the league for a trophy.
So the actual and systematic issue is this club not giving coaches the resources to balance both.

Should’ve scored from the many chances and near misses we had. We also conceded lots of dangerous situations, at one point a 4v2, where better teams would put you away. So still unconvincing overall

Liked Bergvall a lot, what a first season he’s having. The Spence, Son, Maddison triangle is so dangerous. Big moment for Wilson. Still think we’re too easy to open up and a double pivot might give us better balance. Hoping we show some improvement building up to the QF

I’ve never understood the Spurs fans who don’t rate Maddison. The only issue I’ve seen is him lasting 90mins and playing 3 games a week. Sensational for the third goal
