I finally got myself a gouache set and have been practicing with it today. I think I finally got the water-to-paint ratio right

I've been exploring different types of self portrait :3

I'm very, totally normal about Vi breaking down and saying she chooses wrong every time, and her theme of desperately, stubbornly, sometimes wrongly seeing the good in others. I feel normal feelings about Vi trying to save everyone and often failing. Anyway ✨

I want to see more ppl talking about how there's a trope of lesbians in media where they are literally toxic and/or abusive, but that gets excused with a: a super quick time cut or b: the abuse/toxicity being "a reaction" or "coping" method, but it's fine b/c they love eachother!

I saw a quote floating around the internet that said "you can't create in survival mode" and I couldn't disagree more. Creation is one of my biggest tools, esp during survival mode. Art is often the last self expression we are left with when everything else is out of our control.
