Love getting my sponsored bear updates for Ron from Wildlife SOS!
Ron enjoys the chill in the air, but seeks out the sun whenever it peeks out. They came up with an enrichment to encourage him to use his lip suction skills. Sloth bears, use this to extract termites from mounds in the wild.

Another donation to the Wildlife SOS spring auction! Raju, watercolor by Emma Bowring.

Raju is the most famous elephant at Wildlife SOS. The support that came flooding in after Raju’s rescue is a huge reason for our success.

Raju has no idea he was behind such an effort.

After a 20 hour drive, Manu made it to the Wildlife SOS Elephant Conservation and Care Center!!!

For nearly six decades, the only world Manu has known is one of cruelty and abuse. He is totally blind from his left eye - scarred by deep puncture wounds from ankush (bullhooks). @wildlifesos

A 58-year-old elephant collapsed, unable to stand for 36 hours. The Wildlife SOS team reached him after a 20 hour drive.

They got him standing with a crane, and are feeding him sugarcane and fruits.

Now to get him back to the Elephant Care Center, another 20 hour drive.

Hang in there Manu!
