Just finished reading it. She did it as an "experiment" and concluded it's comforting, but ultimately hollow. She quotes a psychologist who calls it a feedback loop of validation. It's kind of a shallow dive, though.

That last bit. It's the conspiracy theorist mentality. There are plenty in that sphere that don't mind lying if it wins converts. The thought process is something like, "Well, the government may not have made lime disease, but they do engineer diseases, so who cares about the details."

They're gonna play word games. They'll say there wasn't some roledex or anything listing dudes and their preferences. There's definitely documentation tying specific men to Epstein, but they'll pretend that's not what we meant.
