The russian rot runs DEEP. When you look at funding, where money funnels to and from, and personal connections, it becomes obvious America has a significant, significant problem.

There is such a fundamental issue with “restoring production” that so many American’s seem to be missing or ignoring. We don’t currently have the production capabilities to compensate for international import. You can’t magically force domestic production. It is a sham.

That’s fair. There is a lot of dark money that finds it’s way into our political system and that makes it ripe for abuse and corruption. That is absolutely another aspect of our government that needs to be shored up.

I think it’s easy to point the finger at a two party system, and in part I do agree with you, but I feel like our democracy has a bigger sickness that is easily exploitable. We have many problems that have gone unresolved, the two party system being just one example.

Unfortunately, I believe we will not see a more healthy, stable America until we strengthen our national security from foreign threats, namely russia. We have proven we have a gaping weakness in our social media/media intake.Until we fix that we will continue to see active measures used against us.

As a fan of your work and a historian, I can’t thank you enough for your priceless work on Ukraine. Red Famine was one of my earliest readings of Ukraine and paved a way for my research today. Your continued efforts to fight russian colonialism and expansionism is truly and inspiration.

This is a fair and just response. The US can no longer be considered a safe or reliable ally. Nations must preliminarily protect their security on all front, least they risk having classified information and/or agreements sold out, leaked, or weaponized.

I’m sorry, but you’re walking around your own argument. You said history is utilized to facilitate the growth of evil. That also insinuates history acts on it’s own accord, which it doesn’t, which was the purpose of my comment to begin it. *We* are the creators of history. Good or bad is up to us.

People anywhere can abuse education and knowledge, it doesn’t mean it inherently has a damned destiny. If people can study history for villainous purpose then people can also study it for good.

History doesn’t repeat, it has patterns. Do not fall folly to the idea that we are not in control of what may come. We are not victims to a predetermined destiny that history will repeat, no matter what. History is here for us to learn, to ensure it isn’t repeated. The power to ensure that is our’s.
