“The financial stability of UK universities cannot depend on overseas students”
“We’re going to reduce the number of overseas students”
but
“We have no plan for alternative funding for UK universities.”

Cool. Thanks. That’s going to work brilliantly isn’t it.

Stansted vibe is reading about Ash Sarkar’s Marxist approach to marriage in the Vogue you got from the Stansted Express whilst sitting in the ‘Spoons waiting for your delayed Ryanair

All this money & energy spent to make life more miserable for trans people could've been used to fight against domestic violence, wage disparity, sexual harassment, harassment of people accessing abortion services, proper childcare provision; you know, to make the world a better place instead.

It’s quite incredible just how many people in London decide that riding the bus is the ideal time to clip their nails.

Thinking of Westminster full of tractors. Who is allowed to protest and who is not. The UKs clampdown on climate protest is frightening
🚨 Outrage as 20 police officers break into Westminster Quaker Meeting House and arrest six. 🚨
This shocking violation of a place of worship is a direct result of crackdowns on protest and dissent - freedom of speech, assembly and democracy are at risk.🕊️

WAS WALKING TO THE TUBE AT MY USUAL "BASICALLY RUNNING" PACE AND A MOUSE RAN UNDER MY FOOT AND I CRUSHED IT

A MOUSE COMMITED SUICIDE BY SHOE VIA MY HEEL

I CAN STILL FEEL THE CRUNCH

OH GOD

As Sussex points out in the piece, this ruling means that if a university has a policy against racist speech on campus — which most - if not all - do!!! — then they would also be liable for a big fine on “free speech grounds”
