With Windows 11 stripped down to its boxers, I'm looking to swap out "Windows only" apps for apps that will be available on Linux. First up will be dropping Microsoft 365 for @onlyoffice.bsky.social.
Comment of the week goes to an auntie who lives in my complex. I ran into her getting off the bus the other day. "You look so much taller at the apartment.

Like does being in sunlight make me look shorter? WTF! 😭

Where's my #shortking t-shirt!

I know part of my problem is that I want an app that will do everything I want and none of what I don't. That's not gonna happen, so I switched up to what experience would I enjoy most. #writingcommunity #writesky

Talk about falling down a rabbit hole. I was just checking out alternatives to Scrivener, and now I’m out here trying to catch them all like Pokémon.

It was a good day. After a couple months of digging and comparing, we finally locked in the deal we’ve been waiting on. Feels great to grab the last piece we needed to move on from the Microsoft ecosystem for good. Literally #pCloud for life.

Decision paralysis time. Playing with:

Scrivener
Bibisco
Campfire
Obsidian
Plottr

I need a writing app that handles #worldbuilding and lets me reference it fast while I’m drafting.

If you’ve used any of these (or something I didn’t list), what was your experience?

Real shit. Our politics here in the US is like the tagline in Alien vs Predator: No matter who wins... we lose.

The magic number is 354.

@pcloudapp.bsky.social got me over here waiting on their Black Friday sale like junkie waiting on their dealer.

There are very few men who worked this hard to starve the people of their country. This is the guy who wanted the Nobel Prize, right?

Destiny 2 must have been one of those games you needed to go get into on day one. Tried it for the first time. Disorganized mess. Too many menus, subsystems and other shit.

For the peeps that played the latest DLC for The Division, is it worth picking up? @pookiengel.bsky.social and I need to start a new game, but were deciding if we wanted to finish out the story or not.

Um... don't expect to go back to the gym lifting what you're use to after an almost 3-month injury layout. That shit will humble you.

Speaking from experience.

As someone who doesn’t receive SNAP benefits, I have to say this.

Now that the Supreme Court has blocked full funding to hear Trump’s appeal, if the White House loses, every SNAP recipient should get double benefits for November.

Respect to the stores finally making food affordable. Seriously.
But don’t act like this is some new discovery.

They always could’ve done it.

They just didn’t care until they realize those same SNAP bennies wouldn't be hitting their cash registers.

Went back to work a day early. Trust me, wasn't intentional. Was having too much fun on vacation.
November 6, 2025 at 3:23 AM
This should not be on by default @netflix.com.
November 3, 2025 at 6:20 PM
Nah Bruv, don't need a hot crypto tip. I'm good.
November 3, 2025 at 4:59 PM
Just finished #AliensFireteamElite — solid game. Keeping it installed for Horde mode and higher difficulties.

Definitely feels more World War Z than Left 4 Dead.

If a sequel drops, @pookiengel.bsky.social and I are in.
November 3, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Working out, reading, getting back to doing what I enjoy doing in life.
2. What improved your mental health?
November 3, 2025 at 4:06 PM
Bruv, I went down a full-on digital security rabbit hole and woke up choosing digital violence.

Every “Sign in with Google” app like must go!

Next up email alias for better control of this mess.
November 3, 2025 at 3:59 PM
In the middle of disconnecting all those “Sign in with Google” logins before deleting my account.

112 connected apps, down to 15.

Found out you’ve gotta visit most of those sites to actually delete your account. Just disconnecting doesn’t mean they’re gone.

Who the in hell thought selling this shit was a good idea to begin with?
November 2, 2025 at 5:16 PM
Wife: I don't know what to make for breakfast
Me: Why don't we make grits, turkey sausage and eggs bowls.
Wife: Yeah, but what to go with the eggs and turkey sausage?
Me: ...

Understand this is coming from a woman can damn near build a home furnace herself from scratch.

She still my homie, tho.

It's been said, "When life gives you lemons..."
But what if you're allergic to citrus?
