Here's a win for public transparency from the Arkansas Court of Appeals thanks to Elizabeth Coger, a Washington County JP who sued the county for violating state FOIA rules on open meetings.
Court of Appeals upholds Washington County verdict in favor of open meetings
This was at least the third FOIA lawsuit loss for the county in recent years.

My favorite part of Quorum Court tonight was watching the County Judge throw a self righteous hissy fit over JPs getting a raise. We are the third largest county but pay JPs at 3rd from the bottom, and he was big mad.
