The more I learn about the guts of how LLMs work, I'm increasingly convinced that the training of contextual embedding models was as big a breakthrough as building the actual Transformer model. To represent all of human vocabulary separated by context into one vector space is just amazing!

Recursive Language Models - Interesting approach, The language model recursively self decomposes and refines the input context before providing output. alexzhang13.github.io/blog/2025/rlm/
Alex L. Zhang | Recursive Language Models
We propose Recursive Language Models (RLMs), an inference strategy where language models can decompose and recursively interact with input context of unbounded length through REPL environments.

That's a fascinating concept. That system design of an organization always reflects the communication patterns in it. Hence systems end up reflecting what the organization is already doing.
Systems As Mirrors
Conway’s Law tells us systems reflect their makers. But what if they reveal more than structure — what if they surface what we didn’t define?

In the AI era, the winners won’t be the tools you adapt to — they’ll be the ones that adapt to you.

Rigid SaaS tools had their moment because customization was hard. But when AI makes setup as simple as a conversation, malleable software isn’t just an option — it becomes the default.

Just read about a fascinating approach to prompt engineering. Instead of retraining or changing weights, you can tune a simple vector prefix on inputs—and suddenly a small LLM jumps from ~58% to ~95% accuracy on a classifier task.

AI models are getting smarter fast—but that doesn’t mean corporate automation has caught up.
The real bottlenecks?
1️⃣ The spec gap — humans can’t always describe tasks in perfect detail.
2️⃣ Information organization — context is scattered across emails, agendas, and intentions.

At WorldatWork SalesComp25, the AI volume was way down—a healthy reset. For incentives, the two plays that actually deliver: user-facing AI for plain-English answers and builder-focused AI to speed implementations. Seeing the same on your side?

Incentives shouldn’t just pay reps—they should power your whole C-suite. Automate for the CIO, prove ROI for the CFO, speed deals for the CRO, and lock in talent for the CHRO. See how in 45 seconds below.

Remember when “custom code” meant endless vendor bills and no flexibility?
AI just flipped that script—now even complex business logic can be spun up or tweaked in minutes, without a brand-new UI or language.

McKinsey’s latest shows a 30 % execution gap between boardroom strategy and real revenue. In sales comp, that gap hides in scattered spreadsheets and slow approvals. 👀

At Bing, one employee ran a small test management dismissed. It brought in $100M in revenue.
Lesson? Don’t debate. Experiment.

Being bootstrapped forces clarity.
On what to spend.
Where to market.
Who to hire.
And most importantly—why.

Every decision has to earn its keep.
That’s how we build, grow, and stay scrappy.
