I have been in a police bar once (inside the police station) for a garhering where the police were thanking teachers (mostly female). I have never seen such overt misogyny on so many posters elsewhere. I wouldn't trust anyone who worked in that station around women or LGBTQI + people.

If we are truly one of the least corrupt countries the rest of the world must be a complete cesspool. The corruption seems pretty blatant in AoNZ at the moment.

I am at the point of thinking anyone who rises to the top of the Police Force is probably dirty. There have been to many cover ups.

My Mum was raised in similar circumstances. She went hungry a lot. I taught kids whose families were in worse circumstances. It makes me mad that people go hungry & homeless in Aotearoa.

My husband has accepted their decision to not learn to hunt. They all enjoy mountain biking, kayaking & tramping together far more. They played spot the wild goats today while bush bashing.

Wealthy leaders seems to be a common factor as well. So financial abuse of congregants.
I think hatred of others + all forms of abuse go together.
Maybe hate rots a persons moral compass regardless of who the hatred is targeted at.

The most vocal who constantly speak about it seem to be. I know lots of people who turn away or condone the hate. I haven't seen evidence of SA from that group. Emotional abuse & physical discipline are present in their child rearing practises.
