Every year since 1988, the United States has recognized World AIDS Day — until now.

Why not? Maybe because the Trump administration doesn’t want to acknowledge that its foreign aid cuts led to nearly 150,000 deaths from AIDS, according to Boston University researchers.

Shameful.

Planet Earth is a miraculous jewel spinning through the infinite void.

It is the only home we will ever know.

Building a civilization based on sustainability, biodiversity, and eco-consciousness must be the prime directive of humanity.

Thank you, Mary, for identifying pigs as they really are! Using the word “piggy” as a depreciation is idiotic, as the term is actually a compliment, at least to those who know the American language.

Virginia Democrat Ghazala Hashimi makes history as the first Muslim woman elected to statewide office in the United States. “I think my message has been resonating with so many people who feel marginalized,” the lieutenant governor-elect tells Ali Velshi. “Our next steps have to be to respond to the crisis in the health care system that's resulting from the cuts to Medicaid.”
