I put the can of pumpkin into small containers, freeze most, and use one container at a time. It takes a long time to use an entire can and it would go bad before I could use it all. This way each little container is fresh when taken out of the freezer. It is a bit liquidly but that's good for her.

I use whatever brand I can fiind -- as long as the ingredients is only: pumpkin and it is puree. I buy organic when I can find it. Very important that there are no other ingredients. I buy a local store brand called Sprouts most of the time.
