When I make with my hands, I go with the flow

I follow the color, the curves, the texture. Present to the movement and flow. Not so much worrying about what's coming; more presence.

My brain still tries to write what people say in Pitman shorthand.
I learned it in sixth grade.
I didn’t use it for long.
Apparently that doesn’t matter.

Today I shut off social notifications. No more red dots stealing my attention. I’ve also stepped back from following the news so closely. This year is hard to take, so I’m letting myself be gentler, and even listening to music again.

I solved NYT Connections today using ChatGPT (instead of straight-up cheating). Of course, my robot wouldn’t stop cheering.

Progress on garage cleanup/declutter/reorg:

I could’ve looked up how to sort screws, but I made up a system of my own. And check out the wall! That lineup includes my cleaning tools and a spare vacuum and a ladder.

Maybe I can clean them and return them to normal usage now. After soaking in the dish pan for five days, healed a painful AF corn.

While making herbal soaks — stye in my eye. Today almost no pain.
