GOOD NEWS! Researchers have developed a heteromultivalent nanogel capable of killing some of the most dangerous bacteria known to medicine- with over 99.9% effectiveness against P. aeruginosa. It also showed strong antibacterial effects against other major threats, including E. coli and MRSA.

Thread...
Back in the 1920s, when flying still felt like climbing onto a lawnmower with wings, Canada had a rule — unwritten but ironclad:

“Aviation is for men.”

But one nineteen-year-old textile worker from Hamilton never gave a damn about that.

Agreed. It isn't long to wait, but especially now, it's important to remember, and to honour what they were fighting for. And maybe remember to stand up for what's right, hopefully before it gets to such dire consequences.
Just a gentle reminder that its November 2nd. If you arent doing it already, everyone should be wearing poppies until noon on November 11th. Then Christmas your faces off.

A little etiquette for the observance of veterans who sacrificed so much for our freedom isnt asking too much. Is it?

Not to be THAT dictionary, but…

It’s ‘per se,’ not ‘per say.’
It’s ‘dog-eat-dog world,’ not ‘doggy-dog world.’
It’s ‘hunger pangs,’ not ‘hunger pains.’
It’s ‘one and the same,’ not ‘one in the same.’
It's 'buck naked,' not 'butt naked.'

I am so embarrassed to having to do this but I need 600 for a surgery to happen on 10/31 for my severe carpal tunnel on my left wrist as well as a ganglion cyst that's gotten too close to my artery

So I am selling some pieces!

I know everyone is tight right now but reposting is love

I really think it's worth getting your car detailed sometime

Before I got my car detailed, it was just a red car.

Afterward, it was a cherry-red 2017 Ford Fiesta with power steering, beaded seat covers, a pair of skull dice hanging from the rear-view, and slightly dented hubcaps.

Well said.
Trans rights are not the rights of a tiny minority, trans rights are everyone’s rights to self-determination, control of our bodies, and a society where opportunity and aesthetics are not restricted by sex assigned at birth

You should support and defend trans people because trans people are people

Small thread...
This is my favourite view of our home - where you feel in your bones that despite how much we fixate on what's on the land that we've called the planet "Earth", it's over two-thirds (71%) covered in water...

And we're *still* discovering for the first time what's under all that sea.
