It’s interesting to think that before Lady was finalised as a freelanced British tank engine, she was portrayed as a tenderless American engine in the storyboard art, and by sheet coincidence Christy Webster & Tom Stubbs based the Golden Steam Engine on the extinct Pennsy Railroad A3 switchers.

If it were up to me, considering that in the state of Maine there’s also a train set from Sweden, but the steam engine for it, a Swedish B Class, was withdrawn and sent to an amusement park in Tennessee, I would buy those two engines and use them for an ambitious project that’s unlike any other.

There had been different proposals in order to better preserve them if the unlikely ideas of putting them back in service, or sending them back home to Sweden, are out of the question, but so-far nothing has happened, and whatever idea there is for them quickly falls apart.

We don’t know if the owners of the former HCW’s right-of-way allowed this, or are even aware of trespassers capable of breaking into their private property. If what happened to the coaches was a possible tragedy, what’s to say that the same can repeat itself to the two engines?

No-matter if this is what urban explorers do, this can potentially open up a worse opportunity for anyone to break-and-enter into places they shouldn’t be in.
My biggest question is how this person managed to get into the engine shed in the first place undetected?

Now, whether this is a true story, false for publicity attention, or if the identity was mistaken for another member of the Class 55s, we don’t know, but it’s worth adapting it into a story.

This is not talked a lot anymore, but back in September 1980 there was apparently a sighting of a ghost deltic diesel roaming British Rails near New Barnet, North of London near the Hadley Wood South Tunnel. Two railfans recounted the event and were witnesses to the sighting.

This came out-of-nowhere that I’ve just learned from the Ryle Miniature Railway. There’s apparently a four Cagney locomotive in the UK. Last I recall, there were three of them in total, two imports and one lone original survivor. Where did the mysterious fourth one come from?

YouTube needs to stop changing the video players and everything else on the platform ever time right now, because I can’t stand with whatever pattern I’m strongly use to getting removed or alternated by whatever we YouTubers never asked for that they feel the need to update.

I should also highlight that Oct 24th marked 5-years since Thomas And The Magic Railroad came back to cinemas for the first time in 20-years (…for one day only), which I had to risk missing out on because of concerns regarding the Covid outbreak in 2020.

I feel very annoyed by the fact that Mattel had the nerve to bring a life-size standee of that 2D monstrosity to Awdry’s house for the blue plaque ceremony in such disrespect towards his creation, when they obviously should have chosen better or left it out entirely.

Has anyone ever made, or even considered making, models of S&DR “Locomotion” no. 1 for Trainz Simulator at all before? Because the only one DLC model I can find available is strictly reserved for the original Microsoft Train Simulator, and nothing outside of that.
