On Monday, the Covid Inquiry begins hearings on the impact of the pandemic on children.
Children were killed by Covid. Many were left bereaved. A generation lost parents, had their education torn apart, and grew up with trauma.
The Inquiry must deliver for them.

Matt Hancock not only made things up during his stint as health secretary during the COVID pandemic - “protective ring around care homes” anyone? - he also made things up when previously giving evidence under oath to the Covid inquiry. How will he lie and deflect when he gives evidence again today?
Matt Hancock previously told the Inquiry that the main cause of infections in care homes was care home staff.
He based this claim on the Vivaldi study.
Today, the author of that study, Prof. Laura Shallcross, told the Inquiry that her study does NOT show that.
