Do you have any idea how Izzo reacted to the Tre news? This seems like the kind of thing that might negate all of the positive vibes he had from the year. The hope (or maybe illusion) that Michigan State culture is just different takes a huge hit with Tre stepping away

It’s just a mom defending her son, which I totally get. Not 100% sure why it had to be published, but her feelings make sense.

Yep, we have outlets in different countries that the local population (understandably) is boycotting because we are an American brand. There’s no way we can deal or innovate our way out of just a straight up boycott out of spite. It’s fun.

He definitely has work to do, but when you think about last year, his main contributions were dunks and the occasional helpside block on defense. This year he took people off the dribble sometimes, made a few threes, and played really good on ball defense at times (ask Ace Bailey). Bright future.

Coen Carr plays his way onto an all Big Ten team next year. It’s not hard to imagine him scoring 14 points a game, picking up 6 boards, and being one of the scariest defenders in the conference if he makes a similar off-season leap as he did this year.
