Owning a 3D printer has given me a near unlimited capacity for owning little plastic trinkets. Remains to be seen whether other uses exist (but I remain hopeful)

Looking for opinions- which geometry do you like best: Vertical indent, horizontal indent, or flat?

These aren’t even close to final, I’m just using my new 3D printer to do the prototyping

Seeing the cover art for the Atari 7800 version of Asteroids struck me with an overwhelming desire to replicate it with physical models.

I have been fighting a months long battle to get my cutting machine scribing tool to produce more consistent lines. Turns out, it was coming loose in the jig, and all I needed to fix it was a bit of masking tape to give it a TINY bit more grip.

Sometimes it’s the low tech fix that works best.

Fun typography fact! The font used in the original Final Destination poster and the infamous "you wouldn't steal a car" PSA use the same font, FF Confidential.
Bonus: The PSA used a pirated version of the font called "Xband-Rough". afaik Final Destination used the licensed version, but who can say 🤷
