Introducing 2-EPB unit 6307, kept at Sellindge and a restoration project for our Kent based volunteers. In 2025 the project will ramp up to bring this unique survivor back to looking her best, it will take a few years and several thousand pounds so if you want to help in anyway get in touch.

Here’s another old advert relevant to our collection. English Electric built 32 ‘Type 3’ electric locomotives, 31 of them for UK industrial sites and one for South Africa. The first one was out-shopped in 1920 and the final one in 1951. Five are preserved, including our Spondon No.1

Don’t know the date on this but after 1950 as that is when our Ruston 165DE ‘MAZDA’ was built. It was the first diesel-electric loco built by Ruston & Hornsby and was fitted with BTH traction and control gear. Currently under restoration at The Battlefield Railway in Leicestershire.

We helped with some of the detail for this model - it looks great doesn’t it!
Testing ex- Tyneside epb unit 931062 "the sprinkler" which I made some years ago. The front end paint bloomed and went a horrible colour & I never had the handrails and headlamps fitted. The front end transfers are from Railtec, the dodgy side ones l made!
