Thought you all might like to look at my blooming hibiscus with a shrinking snowbank in the background. It was a retirement gift and lifts the heart whenever it blooms!

What the Henemies are up to this morning. Redecorating with some new straw.

Another snowy morning here in the wilds of Ontario! Not thrilled to learn that we will be going to the polls in a month. Low voter turnout is the reason we have the shitty government of the day so this winter election call is strategic. Grrrr

I have decided to rename my flock of 7 chickens Henemies.
I was calling them Mean Girls before yesterday. The Pecking Order is real! I want them all to get along! Here are a couple of photos from yesterday. Note the frost around the heated water bowl - it was aching fingers and frozen nose cold!

Third morning in a row I had to light a fire in the bedroom. -21 here.
