That’s the part I don’t believe - if we knew, I think the Ekitike saga plays out differently. But it does put his woeful effort/performances since Cup Final into perspective

It’s not the excuse but it is the reason. PSR/APT has hugely limited the amount we can offer in wages, therefore we can’t compete with the Sly 6 everytime

I’d like to think that Ekitike would prefer a club that has tracked him for years, and clearly wants him, over one that views him as very much a second choice. If he chooses us, great - if not, is he the character we want?

VAR can’t get involved unless it’s a red/penalty. If they deem (incorrectly imo) that it’s not a red, and officials don’t see it, they can’t give a yellow. Unless it’s for Joe Willock against Brighton for some reason

My beef, Alf, is that your manager’s reaction, and subsequent official club statement, to decisions they didn’t agree with last year, should be the dictionary definition of a disrespectful club (a disgracia). But we can agree that hopefully the best team wins (as long as it’s us)
