I often find "rivers" in alcohol ink ~i.e.~ this meandering piece. Alcohol ink on glass moves you in/out of control of the media & colours are saturated. Working on both sides of the frame's glass adds interest.

Normally, cannot abide the waste of paint pouring, but this canvas was fun to create for a show. Paint pouring photos/demos rarely show the dried finish, as is shown here.
If I do paint pour, I use wallpaper scraps & allow no paint to escape. These scraps are then used for mixed media projects.
