🚨 England’s rivers are under threat.

Water extraction is at record levels & the system meant to track it is broken. Licensing's outdated, loopholes huge, no one truly knows how much water we’re taking.

There has been a concerted, systematic effort at mapping and sometimes sabotaging water infra in West Sweden, local police have shown.

It is suspected to be going on nation-wide.

Follows pattern of no thefts though there are expensive stuff, always manage to evade CCTV, usually professional.

Summer UK temperatures have warmed faster than global average temperature.

But the very hottest days have warmed 4x faster than the global average, especially in south-east England.

Global warming is not "just" 1°C or 2°C. The effects of climate change are non-linear, especially for extremes.
