Little Village community organizer Chela Garcia starts the demo by calling out Chicago police for, she says, shielding federal agents as they attempted to detain a minor this weekend.

"Every time police collaborate with ICE, they are not serving us. They are serving a racist agenda," she says.

My old man is an 80 yr old right winger, and from I understand is happy about everything happening. He's been going to Thailand for procedures for at least a decade. Defies logic.

I mean, are these people yelling at electeds like this congresswoman too, or is the wisdom over the obvious only appreciated by those on taxpayer payroll?

This is what makes it even more infuriating. They could have chosen any number of extremely urgent issues to hold firm on. They only really chose one, and couldn't even stick with that.

I love that these types are fully unconcerned with the candidate, their views, their spine, or their ability to legislate when actually elected. As long as there's a "D" next to their name, they assign them attributes of the democrat analogue in their head.

Of course Fetterman is a given here. A man that loves blowing up hospitals can't be trusted to care about healthcare.
