There's #emacs async.el copying, and then there's dired-rsync.el which shells out and shows process in a buffer and that works amazingly well.

While tap-and-go travel is great trying to resolve an unwanted charge from another countries public transport system because RFID trumps the PDF you are trying to scan is a bit painful.

I wasn't expecting #qemu to get name checked in a @hossenfelder.bsky.social #video but there you go. Despite spending quite a lot of time experimenting with #ai tools I too get irritated by the defaults as big tech tries to enable it everywhere: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICjubxfeICo
