That's insane. And deeply troubling if accurate. Look at how quickly the Heritage Foundation implemented their project 2025 plans in the USA to destroy democracy. With that many seats reform can pass all the new laws and acts that they want and no one can stop them.

First step should have been to teach people not to step in front of fast moving options. Second maybe put up a sign. Then you can move onto fences but do it quickly. No need for lengthy delays just to put up a fence.

I'm starting to think that the "circuses" in the old maxim isnt media, it's political theatre. How often in the last few decades has it been so clear someone committed a crime, a lot of hot air was talked about getting to the bottom of it, and then nothing really changes, no one really gets punished

So... Basically even if you think migration is a problem, it's going down. So why vote in a bunch of racists and fascists to deal with it? If anything, if their support depends on people being scared of foreigners isn't it in their interests to raise immigration?
