Did you get the follow up 'fit, though? A suit that is almost a pop-art experience. Red with white trim on one half and black and white in different proportions on the other. Haven't seen confirmation, but I'm sure it's Thom Browne.

The suit is half red with white trim and the other half is black with white pinstripes and white pieces that almost appear to be a suit in the process of being assembled and tailored. The suit is very closely tailored to her body.

An excerpt from Playbill Magazine: Composer-lyricist Steinman — also known for Meatloaf's "Bat Out of Hell" — told explained the song's inclusion to Playbill On-Line: "That was an accident almost. I'm surprised it stayed in. [For the original production] in Vienna, I had only a month and a half to write this whole show and we needed a big love duet... I remembered I actually wrote ["Total Eclipse of the Heart"] to be a vampire love song. Its original title was 'Vampires in Love' because I was working on a musical of 'Nosferatu,' the other great vampire story. If anyone listens to the lyrics, they're really like vampire lines. It's all about the darkness, the power of darkness and love's place in dark. And so I figured 'Who's ever going to know; it's Vienna!' And then it was just hard to take it out." When asked if he thought the popularity of the song would hinder its impact in the musical, Steinman responded, "Well, the reaction, at least in Europe, was great. They recognized it, but then it seems — if it's done well — to take on a different personality. I like that combination, even though it's usually the opposite — a song becomes a hit afterward. I just feel any connection between pop music and show music is a positive thing."

COUNCIL OF THE INSPECTORS GENERAL ON INTEGRITY AND EFFICIENCY January 24, 2025 Mr. Sergio Gor Director of Presidential Personnel The White House Dear Mr. Gor: I am writing in response to your email sent to me and other Inspectors General earlier this evening wherein you informed each of on that "due to changing priorities, your position as Inspector General . . . is terminated, effective immediately." As Chairperson of the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE), I recommend that you reach out to White House Counsel to discuss your intended course of action. At this point, we do not believe the actions taken are legally sufficient to dismiss Presidentially Appointed, Senate Confirmed Inspectors General. Specifically, based upon the 2022 amendments to the Inspector General Act of 1978, the President must notify Congress 30 days prior to removal of an IG and provide "substantive rationale, including detailed and case-specific reasons" for such removal. 5 U.S.C. § 403(b), as amended by the section 5202(a) of the Securing Inspector General Independence Act of 2022 (Title LII, Subtitle A, of P.L. 117-263, 136 Stat. 2395, 3222). The requirement to provide the substantive rationale, including detailed and case specific reasons, was added to better enable Congress to engage on and respond to a proposed removal of an Inspector General in order to protect the independence of Inspectors General.
