Managed to time my scan day with Donald Trump’s visit to Windsor. And I thought they were laying out the red carpet for me 😁 Despite all the disruption the scan went well today.

I also want to take the fear away from the disease - let’s stop calling it “the big C”, that gives it power.

That’s why I campaign for improved communication skill training of doctors and nurses, and increasing awareness of the nocebo effect. I want everyone diagnosed with stage 4 cancer to have the chance to really take on the disease.

My oncologist, and whole team had a great approach - they helped me onto my front foot, they never promised a cure but wanted to give me the best possible chance of dealing with the cancer. That helped me approach my disease and treatment positively.
