Went to Csepel today, in the hope of perhaps seeing some of the last MIX/A trains in service. No such luck, but at least I was able to see 841 through the fence... Built in 1965 and not yet stricken from the roster, as far as I'm aware, but clearly not far from retirement. :(

Today's activities included a lot of driving in cold and foggy weather, looking at the bleak, Hungarian reality, also buying sweet things from trusted small producers, as well as pickled things, and eating the Hungarian equivalent of french toast (bundás kenyér). A full day.

Some of our Hungarian friends barely wait until we sit down before asking us whether "Germany has finally come to its senses". Like, the fuck? They keep being shown ads portraying Von der Leyen as a puppetmaster and are repeatedly told that Germany is in complete ruin. And then I go "...we're not."

Remember how the venerable 2007 plasma TV that I once got for super cheap just stopped working?
I did the sensible thing and just got a cheap, used 2009 model. This one is the same 50 inches but can actually do 1080p and only consumes 350W! Such progress.
I still prefer these to crap smart TVs.

After I had my washer nozzles adjusted when the car was at the shop anyway, two of them ended up getting blocked, presumably due to them using dirty water (I saw residue in the filler strainer).
Guess I'll just stick to un-fucking everything myself. With canned air and pointy objects.

Our administration forbids us from buying stuff on Amazon.
So I can either order new headsets to replace working headsets or get some replacement foam on Amazon at my own expense.
