I wonder what irked them the most. Calling out Congress as a whole. Calling out Mike Johnson, Calling out Trump, or signing the discharge petition.

All are good answers but I really think it was speaking Spanish in the House floor that pissed them off the most.

I am so here for it.

Democrats are like local bands who take gigs for low dough thinking that it’s getting them in the door for better dough later, while venue owner just marks their book “will work for low dough” by their name.

No one ever wrote a song about NOAA. And that's just fine.
In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.

The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.

The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.

Why?

It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.

Listened to Lawrence O Donnell’s apologist rhetoric and defense of the senators and Schumer last night.

He was, like all of the establishment dems, referring to a very different time about how the Senate works. And also defending a senate that makes deals in back rooms with no transparency. 👎

Can you say ICE?
Nuremberg style trials are necessary to restore our democracy.

Unfortunately it will all get lost as the case will be moot with the Dems caving to reopen the gov't
For the all uneducated fools questioning KBJ

They tell us everything in advance, and we still elect people who refuse to listen.
Q: Will you assure House Democrats they'll get a vote on ACA subsidies by a date certain?

MIKE JOHNSON: Ah -- no. I'm not promising anyone anything.

This didn’t age well #senateDems
From Virginia up to Maine, New Jersey out to California, and plenty of places in between, Tuesday was a great night for democracy — and an awful night for President Donald Trump. Democracy Docket loved tracking every win — and explaining what it all amounted to. But we did a lot else this week, too.

Dear DICK,

The Senate no longer works that way.

This is like my grandfather telling me I need to turn a key to start a car.
Durbin said critics of his vote “need to understand how the Senate works”

Pay attention to what Democratic candidates are saying right now. Find and support the fighters. Having a spine must be a litmus test issue in 2026 and beyond.

Remember when some of us said the Democratic leadership would take all the wrong lessons from the blue tsunami and squander all the goodwill?

Here you go.

Dear fellow progressive New Yorkers. Please register with the Democratic Party so you can PRIMARY THE FUCK out of Schumer and Gillibrand. You can then drop your democratic registration if you wish.
But it would behoove us to make the Democatic party synonymous with the word Progressive.

Republicans are beginning to understand how health insurance works but still don’t understand how health insurance works.

They can’t figure out that it is a privatized social system that could be soooooo much more effective, efficient and cheaper as a public one based on taxes. Like SINGLE PAYER!

My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.

We are willing to feel that pain so people can have health care next year, or to undo these illegal recissions.

We are not willing to have been put through this for NOTHING.

You cannot agree to a good faith deal with a party that has shown no intention in working in good faith. Dems know this.

What were the personal deals made with the individuals who caved that made them cave.

Sanders: That is a totally meaningless gesture. You can get 100 votes here and it won't mean anything because the House is not going to take it up.

Tuesday : Look! Progressive democrats swept local and state elections, there’s hope!

Schumer : Well we can’t have the Democratic Party be effective, hold my beer
November 10, 2025 at 3:42 AM
Schumer caving on a Sunday night before his constituents can call him during normal business hours is peak bullshit.

Progressives just sent a message in Tuesday and now you’re making what was a democratic victory turn into people wondering why they should ever trust democrats.

FUCK!!!!

So if the senate invokes cloture doesn’t that mean it also has to pass over to the House? If so, that means Mikey has to reopen the house. Is he then required to swear in duly elected representatives?

I really don’t know, that’s why I’m asking here
