While I do not have the full extent of its revenues, it is obvious that OpenAI's costs are dramatically higher - by several billion dollars - than previously reported. Similarly, the implied revenues are much lower than reported.

I am deeply concerned.

In H1 2025, it was reported that OpenAI made $4.3bn in revenue and spent $2.5bn on "cost of revenue," which I believe means inference. Based on docs, OpenAI's inference spend was $5.022bn, and it sent 20% per revenue share, implying revs of at least $2.273bn.
