Feeling good today after meeting the W/T operator's daughter who lives near #Ottawa. We had a lovely chat over coffee and she kindly gave me a copy of her father's memoir, which is a great help in my research. It fills some gaps and provides fresh insights. Glad to have finally tracked it down.

Also, I was glad to hear Roger Sarty mentioned. He was a mentor to Tim and deserves greater recognition for his tireless work to promote Canada's history and the role of military historians in shaping it. He's also a very generous fellow and tremendously supportive of others, as was Tim.

Good that you combined your other talents, reading war comics and watching war films, and somehow became a brilliant writer of military history.

The love invested in creatures we protect and care for is unique. They return it in ways that provide joy and a deepened commitment to their welfare. When that is gone, the loss is immeasurable. As you process your grief, remember the good times as consolation. I know you will. Sincere condolences.

Very interested, but just to be clear, is the price for the entire four-week course or per event? (Asking given the GBP > CAD exchange rate.)

Maybe if he wore more makeup, it would seem rationale. Or maybe less makeup. I dunno. Either way, he's just so stupid.

Of course, I buy a poppy. But I also support the homeless vet sitting outside an LCBO with a sign quietly asking for help. Take some change with you. Most important: talk to the person. Let him or her know they are seen and their life is important.
