So much for 'translator's invisibility.'😄5 out of 34 reviews gave clear thumbups to my work on a game. It’s been a while since I had full rein on a narrative-heavy game's Chinese script, and it feels great to know I did something right (again).

I feel it could change a lot for better for devs, linguists, users and everyone, in terms of technicality, budgeting, time and process planning, if localization is seen as a part of development, when it can be considered much earlier during development

Just read a player comment on one game I handled, saying that "the Chinese localization reads more natural than writings in even some 'so called' Chinese-made games", and it got quite a few likes. It's a bit of "downward comparison", though I was still happy to see it.
