My friend was going on and on about how bad self-driving cars are and I thought "How lucky you are to be terrified of THAT." He was right, ofc. I was wrong.

The cinema is my safe space to fully panic spiral in the dark next to strangers, you cannot take that away from me. Where will I go, a club? I'm not changing out of these pajamas.

Cities across the country classify sleeping and even sitting as jailable offenses. But still, housing supply is choked, and renting is gated by private credit agencies that give you the middle finger.

I'm back in the Holi Anna this month, so it's time for another shameless plug for my song collection Holi Anna Hotel. Here's my song about bullshit-ass Musk and his ludicrous Mars colony.

Gin and Fanta, lighter on the Fanta, the botanicals make it taste a lot like fresh orange juice.

I think mclusky's stunning return, and MỘNGMEE by the Vpop singer AMEE, were my only dalliances with being current this year. Oh well time is bunk (lunchtime doubly so ofc).
This month, I'm gonna post the 2025 albums that really hit for me. Not best-of, more of a "my year in tunes" thing.

First up: Tahulla S/T. A sludgy, melodic post-metal deal - apparently they rock out in Vega Baja Del Segura. Acequia is a good starting point.

Dialectics are static. At the point that you can identify an antithesis, you are seeing a duality whose apparent contradictions are stabilizing. This is why they're vividly descriptive of history and useless for prediction. Change follows interruption and incompatibility, not opposition.

"It's not too soon," he said, "you know, it's not too soon at all"
"You might as well be dead," he said, "if you're afraid to fall"
I said, "I know herrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"—

Hakeem Jeffries is what happens when you add water to a "don't add water" soup. A full HALF of this slogan is dedicated to reassuring billionaire donors. Are you a professional politician, man? How do you not know how to do this?
Conceptual flaws aside, this is a crap slogan. "Strong Floor, No Ceiling"—who the fuck wants that on a shirt?

OK, now I've listened to KDIV, Kdxmpc, Ajai II and Palookaville. Mildly obsessed with the ins and outs of the setting and characters.

Also listened to Have A Summer, a different beast entirely. Am listening to the latest, Universe: two tracks, each 18+ minutes, diff storyline I think.

From the sequel. Ajai coming to terms with the concept of "enough".
