companies are not legally required to maximize profits (that's misinfo) and people are not legally required to maximize their short-term productivity if it feels terrible!

Historically (like, for the past decade), I’ve used SVG if <20 things were moving and Canvas for 20+. But I think the threshold nowadays is in the hundreds. The lowest anyone has reported so far is 4900 SVG <circles> being the threshold 😲
